How do I make a booking?
Please go to www.moxtravel.com to book your flights.
What happens after I made the booking?
If you have selected to pay for your booking at your bank, please print
the booking summary that includes instructions how to make your payment.
Please click here for more information about the payment options we
offer you. Please make the payment within the specified payment time
limit, usually a few days after you made the booking. Once we have
received your payment, we will issue your e-ticket within one working
day and email.
If you have selected to pay for your booking with your credit card, your
booking is confirmed immediately. We will issue your e-ticket
immediately and send to you by email. In some cases we may need to ask
you to fax us a copy of your credit card. This is to prevent fraudulent
credit card transactions.
Do you sell tickets originating from Bangkok only?
Yes, at the moment we only sell tickets ex Bangkok. If you live
upcountry, may we suggest you book your connecting flights to/from
Bangkok directly with
Thai Airways or
How do I view my booking itinerary and check my booking status?
You will find your reservation code on your booking summary or your
booking confirmation. You can you check the status of your booking by
entering your booking code together with your last name in the
Tools section of our website.
Can I make an airline reservation for someone else?
Yes you can. However, you cannot use your credit card to make the
payment. Please make use of our bank transfer payment option.
Do I need to reconfirm my flight before departure?
It is no longer required to reconfirm your flights with most airlines.
However, the following airlines still require passengers to reconfirm
flights 72 hours prior to departure:
- Aeroflot Russian Air (SU)
- AeroSvit Ukraine Air (VV)
- Air China (CA)
- Air India (AI)
- Biman Bangladesh (BG)
- China Eastern Airlines (MU)
- China Southern Air (CZ)

Before the ticket is issued, can I change my travel dates?
Yes you can. As long as the ticket hasn't been issued yet you can change
your travel dates as often as you want.
After the ticket is issued, can I change my travel dates?
It depends on the fare rules. Some fare rules allow you to change your
itinerary for free, some will require you to pay a fee and some will not
allow you to make any changes. If your itinerary is changeable, you may
contact us or you may choose to contact your airline directly.
If I cancel my booking do I get the refund?
It depends on the fare rules. Some tickets are non-refundable. In case
you ticket is refundable, the airline will usually charge a fee. We will
deduct this fee from your original payment and transfer the remaining
amount back to you. Please note that depending on the airline, refunds
can take up to 3 months to process. Please note that partially unused
tickets (e.g. you only want to cancel your return flight) can usually
not be refunded.
How do I request a booking cancellation?
Please contact us as soon as you know that you need to cancel your
booking. In case we have mailed paper tickets to you, you will have to
send them back to us. We will then start the refund process.
Do you sell only air tickets? How about hotels?
Yes, we only sell air tickets. This is what we are good at. If you would like to book a hotel for your trip,
there are many online hotel reservation websites. Shop around to get the best deal.
Do you sell travel insurance?
Not at the moment. You can but travel insurance online at
www.nzi.co.th or with any other licensed travel insurance provider.
What is included in airfare?
Fares shown are for one adult, quoted in Thai Baht. Our booking engine
will separately display any taxes and surcharges that you need to pay.
The total amount includes all fares, takes and surcharges you are
required to pay for your trip. Please note that some airports still
require you to pay a departure tax in cash upon departure. These taxes
are not included.
Do you charge service fees?
We do not charge any booking fee. However, these is a small surcharge if you
wish to pay with your credit card.
What credit card can I use to pay for my booking?
We accept Visa and Mastercard credit cards only. We do not accept debit
Is my credit card information safe?
Yes. We use the payment gateway of Kasikorn Bank. You will input your
credit card details directly on the secure website of Kasikorn Bank.
Nobody at Mox Travel will get to see your credit card details at any
time. Kasikorn also supports Verified by Visa and Mastercard Securecode.
To which banks can I transfer my payment?

What are the methods of payment?
We offer you several ways to pay for your booking.

Can I come to your office and pay cash?
Sorry, our office does not accommodate walk-in customers. But booking
online on our website is really easy. Give it a try.
Do you issue e-tickets or paper tickets?
Whenever possible, we issue e-tickets. This is the most convenient
option. However, some airlines still require paper tickets to be issued.
In this case we will issue paper tickets and mail them to you. There is
no extra charge for this.
When do I get my e-ticket?
Normally we are able to issue the ticket within one working after we
have received your payment. Some tickets which need to be issued by the
airline itself may take a little longer.
How do I get my ticket?
You will get your e-ticket by email. In case we need to issue paper
tickets, you will receive them by mail.
What do I need to do once I have received the ticket?
Upon receiving your tickets, please check the accuracy of names and
itinerary. If there is any problem, please contact us within 24 hours,
otherwise Mox Travel cannot be made liable for any resulting damages.
What do the codes on my ticket mean?
NONREF or Non-Refundable
This indicates that should you wish to
cancel your booking, you will not get any
NONRER or Non-Reroutable
This indicates that you cannot change any
routes within your itinerary. For instance,
if you booked a trip to London, you may not
fly to Paris instead.
NONEND or Non-Endorsable
This indicates that the ticket cannot be
changed to be valid on another airline.
NVB or "Not Valid Before"
You make not change this flight to a date
earlier than the NVB date.
NVA or "Not Valid After"
You make not change this flight to a date
later than the NVA date.
What do I do if I have lost my paper airline tickets?
If you lose your tickets, the airline will require that you do the

sure you allow some extra time before your scheduled flight for this
process. Bring the police report to contact airline that you will fly
with at nearest airline office for example, you purchase air-ticket with
us for a flight to London on Thai Airways and you lose your ticket in
London, you need to contact the Thai Airways office in London to
re-issue ticket. The airline will consider all the documents and will
decide on the conditions under which it will re-issue the ticket. Please
note that these rules and charges are directed by the airline and we
have no influence on them.
I need a tax invoice. Can you please send me one?
International air tickets are not subject to the 7% VAT in Thailand. Since there is no tax on your purchase,
there cannot be a tax invoice for your purchase. However, you will of course get at a receipt for your booking
together with your ticket.
I need to apply for a visa. How should I book my flights?
If you need to apply for a visa but are not sure whether you get it, you can book your flights online and indicate that you will
pay by bank transfer. Your booking summary will say that you will have to pay within a few days. Please
contact us and we might be
able to extend the payment time limit for you. So you can submit the printed booking summary together with your visa application
and pay after you have received your visa. Please note that not all airlines will all us to extend the time limit. May we suggest
you book Thai Airways in this case as they are quite flexible.
Can you send us a confirmation with official signature and stamp?
Yes of course. Contact us and we will mail it to you within one working day.
